Reef Al-Garbia Trading & Contracting Est. started its Contracting and Trading Business in the year 2011. It has completed three years of construction and services mainly in Saudi Arabian Heavy Industrial and Light Industrial Projects and Oil and Gas, Petrochemical companies, and other private sectors. During the past years, the Organization has achieved growth in all spheres of services with high caliber and standards required by our Clients.

Our undertakings were in the fields of Civil Construction & Maintenance, Supply of Manpower & Equipment, and Material. We have successfully carried out direct contract and sub contracts for SABIC and MARAFIC, ROYAL COMMISION as a Short Form and Long Form contracts. We also have sufficient experience working with Korean Companies and have provided various services such as manpower and equipment rental and material supply to their satisfaction. We are still and currently providing services for the ongoing projects of Hanwah Engineering Construction Co. and Daeja construction Co, for Yanbu I &-II Utility Plant Projects.

We continually strive to improve the performance of our work, and to complete the Projects within the scheduled time, while maintaining standards of quality and safety during execution. We have good knowledge and experience in all types of jobs such Demolition and excavation works, and maintenance, Building Trades, Community Maintenance Services, maintenance, abrasive blasting and coating, etc.

Our staffs are well qualified and experienced; Engineers and Supervisors in their respective fields have varied experience for carrying out Construction and Maintenance jobs. We have suitable equipment to meet all our requirements in construction fields such as earth works and dewatering, equipment, heavy Equipment and transportation. Our material procurement wing consists of well experienced Procurement Manager, Material Expeditor and Controllers, Purchase Officers and Clerical Staff as well as we provide skilled and non skilled workers for the construction and maintenance projects.

Planning & Scheduling Capabilities.

Our Planning is the foundation of project quality which identifies uncertainties and develops strategies for managing the uncertainty.

Systematic planning process is the mechanism for developing our program and our Project.

These requirements are in turn articulated in dynamic work strategies and work well planned that directly support our projects.

Preparation of project execution with bar chart, man power and equipment histograms are in accordance with the requirements. Our project completion mile stone is set to be our planning.

We utilize industry standard scheduling, graphic and spreadsheet Software’s such as Primavera Project Planner for Windows, Microsoft Excel for its Planning and scheduling requirements. These tools are extensively used by REEF to facilitate data processing and graphic presentations for its project monitoring and updating.

Quality Policy

It is the policy and overall business objective of REEF to provide services of the highest quality and in compliance with the clients specified requirements.

The Establishment recognizes that genuine commitment to understanding the present and future needs of its clients is essential to achievement of these objectives and thus continually strives to ensure that the needs and reasonable expectations of the clients are realized in the quality of the services provided.

By maintaining a documented quality system in compliance with ISO 9001:2008, the Establishment can ensure that effective processes are used to identify and provide the required level of Quality.

Monthly internal meetings are held to review the achieved results of the Quality System to ensure that continuing improvements of the system and processes are maintained.

The management of the Establishment shall communicate, consult and advise with employees on all quality issues relevant to the operation of its business.

Obligations

Management is firmly committed to a policy enabling all work activities to be carried out safely, and with all possible measures taken to remove (or at least reduce) risks to the health, safety and welfare of workers, Client and Contractors, Customers and anyone else who may be affected by our operations.

We are committed to ensuring we comply with the Work Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSH Act) Standards as far as possible. Responsibilities

Management:

  • plant and substances in safe condition
  • facilities for the welfare of workers
  • information, instruction, training and supervision that is reasonably necessary to ensure that each worker is safe from injury and risks to health

  • not misuse or interfere with anything provided for health and safety
  • report all accidents and incidents on the job immediately, no matter how trivial
  • Report all known or observed hazards to their supervisor or manager.

We seek the co-operation of all workers, customers and other persons. We encourage suggestions for realizing our health and safety objectives to create a safe working environment with a zero accident rate.

This policy applies to all business operations and functions, including those situations where workers are required to work off-site.

Safety, Health & Loss Prevention

It is the policy of REEF, to perform its work in the safest manner possible consistent with sound engineering, technical and fabrication practice.

To fulfill the requirements of this policy, an organized and effective safety program must be carried out at each location where work is performed.

Responsibility of the safety program and for its enforcement is delegated to the line supervision in accordance with Establishment policy. The presence of Safety Supervisors and staff personnel in no way relieves the line organization of its responsibility. In order for the safety program to be effective, the line supervisor must participate in the administration of the company’s safety program in full.

The objective of the safety program is the proper control of circumstances that may lead to or cause accidents or illnesses and the prevention of personal injuries and losses to equipment, plant or other property.

All work and equipment must conform to standards and instructions. Where no standard or instruction is available to cover a particular activity, the REEF may request that the Client specify the standard of work or equipment required.
